Anders Pedersen (MSc, PMP) graduated in Economics and Finance. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®, from the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.*
Highly experienced, Anders is supporting the development and maturity growth of project managers since 2007. Making concepts come to life and become practical, tangible for the audiences are key success factors for the teams which Anders leads through either their PMP preparation, or simply their professional growth while becoming more mature organizations.
Anders currently works with a number of training providers as a director responsible for training and coaching of a variety of courses and workshops. He has worked with a number of high profile clients such as Thomson Reuters, Nokia and HSBC performing a hybrid role including training and management consulting.
Since 2008 he has trained thousands of people delivering a diverse range of courses including Project Management, People Skills, Negotiation Skills, Communication and Finance. He has traveled the world and delivered trainings and facilitated workshops in Africa, Asia, Middle East, US, South America and all over Europe and he thoroughly enjoys the challenges being confronted with different cultures on a continuous basis. More than 6000 people have participated in his PMP preparation deliveries since 2008.
As a Project Management consultant his more recent projects have tended to be adaptive. As an example, He’s helped a client developing an internal project management methodology based on best practices while at the same time setting up a company-wide global PM training curriculum (in which he is the lead trainer and facilitator). Another example is the creation of a question database preparing candidates for the certification exam. Despite the different contexts both those projects have been managed using an agile approach involving frequent meetings with both customer and SMEs to ensure an alignment with the customer expectations.
